About Mars Chess Club
Professional chess education institution in Brisbane, Australia
Mars Chess Club was founded by CCA (Chinese Chess Association) chess master, former Chinese U10 National Champion Mars Qi in 2019 in order to promote the popularization and development of chess in Brisbane Queensland, and to cultivate a group of outstanding young chess players who can represent Queensland to participate in national and even world competitions.
We offer both online and in-person lessons of different levels to suit players from beginner to elite level.
Mars Chess Club have coached over 500 chess players including 2023 Oceania, Queensland & Gold Coast U8 chess champion - Terrence Li (2023 June FIDE rating 1556, under 8 ranking 15th in the world!!!).
